The Pollack Group (TPG) announced that Alex Nathanson has joined the agency as its new Technology Practice Lead. He will lead a team of professionals focused on the rapidly growing technology sectors of cybersecurity, high-performance storage, networking, digital commerce, mobile communications, and beyond. He will work closely with the agency’s digital services, branded as LAB186, as well as its marketing services. Based in TPG’s Los Angeles office, Alex will lead the technology account teams across the agency’s Los Angeles and New York City offices.

“With Alex leading this practice, the agency has already achieved initial successes with three new client wins. Alex will help accelerate the agency’s expansion efforts, while also putting our already diverse PR and marketing service offerings to work in a new sector for the agency,” TPG CEO Noemi Pollack said.

Before joining the agency, Alex spent over a decade as a client of The Pollack Group, working closely on thought leadership and brand positioning programs in his corporate marketing and web technology role at Rain Bird Corporation, a world leader in irrigation and intelligent water use. He brings years of global marketing communications, brand strategy, data privacy, social media, global website development, and e-commerce experience to TPG from both an agency and corporate perspective. Prior to Rain Bird, he held senior-level positions at several consumer and B2B technology manufacturers including Lantronix, a networking and IoT-enabling technology company, and Epson America, Inc., where he served as the company’s first webmaster for the US, Canada, and Latin America.

“Alex comes to TPG with a blend of business, creative, and technical understanding. His familiarity with complex technology marketing, thought leadership, integrated communications, and brand positioning will immediately impact our clients’ growth and success. We are excited to have Alex lead our team and help build out our technology practice group,” said Mark Havenner, senior vice president of TPG.

“Alex joins us at an exciting time in our agency’s growth trajectory. He will be instrumental in helping us recruit and attract the best and brightest talent, as we represent innovative and rapidly growing technology companies,” added TPG president Stefan Pollack.
