For Jacob, conveying information always came naturally. From reading the newspaper every morning so he could share the latest sporting news with his classmates to constantly monitoring Twitter 15 years later for the exact same purpose, his ability and constant eagerness to communicate through text, photos and videos, synchronizes perfectly with his role at the agency.
As the agency’s Integrated Marketing Manager, Jacob works with clients to optimize their ability to communicate online with their consumers and peers. From setting up organic and paid social media outreach to managing video campaign efforts, his experience and savvy in the world of digital content advances the agency’s ability to provide a comprehensive online marketing action plan for its clients in a rapidly changing field. A ready learner, he is on a continuous search for new digital means to capture attention across a variety of web and social media platforms.
Jacob joins TPG from the sports media world, where he worked on Olympic and youth sports-related digital projects for the LA84 Foundation. Prior to that, he worked in digital content programming for NFL Digital Media, managing and optimizing website content on a platform receiving millions of unique visitors every day. Whether it be writing, editing, posting or anything in between, Jacob thrives in a fast-paced environment, while also relying on his journalistic roots to ensure accuracy at all levels.
Offline, Jacob always finds himself traversing across Southern California looking for the next new hike or culinary experience. A native of the Pacific Northwest, he can personally attest that the show Portlandia is not an exactly accurate portrayal of his hometown.
Jacob is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a BA degree in Print & Digital Journalism.
