The Worldcom Confidence Index (WCI) is a living study which uses a breakthrough approach powered by artificial intelligence (AI), which allows us to discover the issues that concern leaders globally – and their confidence levels in addressing them. Organized by the Worldcom Public Relations Group, of which The Pollack Group has been a member of for over 20 years, topics and sentiments are drawn from online conversations of over 54,000 CEOs and CMOs around the world.

June 2020’s WCI update had a number of key insights on how worldwide CEOs and CMOs are reacting to a fast-changing world dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and its many impacts. Here are a few of the takeaways:

•   Leaders’ confidence in corporate image and brand reputation is declining

•   Confidence in financial and and economic influences on success is also declining

•   A focus on upskilling and reskilling is the topic gaining the most interest from CEOs and CMOs, with retaining talent being the second-most important topic.
