For decades, Alex has thrived at the convergence point between technology, business, and creative design. Early exposure to programming, combined with a degree in economics and a passion for technical writing, marketing, and business communication positioned him perfectly for the Internet revolution. It led to a successful career in both agency and in-house roles. Today, Alex brings a unique blend of strategic planning, technical understanding, and practical hands-on experience from an agency and corporate perspective to help clients succeed.
Prior to joining the agency, Alex spent nearly two decades at Rain Bird Corporation, a global leader in irrigation and intelligent water management. Over the years, Alex was in charge of key marketing communications, online advertising, brand strategy, data privacy, social media, global website development, and e-commerce programs. Before that, he held senior-level positions at several consumer and B2B technology manufacturers including Lantronix, a networking and IoT-enabling technology company, as well as Epson America, Inc., where he served as the company’s first webmaster for the US, Canada, and Latin America.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). He is also an active member of Toastmasters International, serving in multiple club officer roles, and mentoring others to improve their communication and leadership skills. As a confessed chocoholic and major foodie, Alex’s “happy place” is in the kitchen, whipping up decadent triple chocolate brownies, freshly baked bread, scratch pizzas, and a never-ending array of tasty dishes
