Retailers and grocery store chains across the United States continue to implement mask mandates for all shoppers, with many chains reversing initial decisions to not require a mask to enter stores. For many, requiring masks is a way to show a commitment to safety for both their customers and their employees. The Pollack Group president Stefan Pollack was quoted in a recent Associated Press article on the subject, titled “As tide turns, retailers that resisted masks relent.” His quote:

“I believe brands need to pay attention to the new consumer activist,” said Stefan Pollack, president of his own Los Angeles-based public relations and marketing company. “Brands no longer have the luxury of staying neutral.”
