Kick Axe Opens in Brooklyn

When Kick Axe, a 7,000-square-foot axe-throwing venue opened to the public, PPMG was hired to highlight the venue’s experiential entertainment edge –  hatchet throwing at a wooden bullseyes. Situated in a lodge-like atmosphere with lumberjack-themed photo area, complete with beer, wine, and malt beverages, the agency was retained to, you guessed it, attract public attention as well as would-be hatch throwers. PPMG secured coverage totaling more than 624 million media impressions, including The New York Times, Time Out New York, Metro, Mashable, Patch, and BKLYNER.
