In Facebook’s latest effort to reclaim its users after the fake news and data scandal, the social media company is opening a network of pop-up cafés around the UK. Each café will offer people free drinks and a privacy checkup to help ease user concerns about their profile privacy. Facebook Café will run from the end of August to the beginning of September.
Disney’s highly anticipated subscription video streaming service, Disney Plus, will premiere on November 12. Disney Plus will stream through Apple, Google, and Roku. Amazon’s FireTV is not included on this list. This comes as a surprise as Fire is the most popular streaming device worldwide, claiming 34 million active users.

Reddit is testing out a new live-streaming feature that could help platforms like Twitch and YouTube. The social company revealed its first broadcasting tool “Reddit Public Access Network.” The software will let eligible users live-stream to a new subreddit, and top streams will appear on Reddit’s front page throughout the testing period. Users will also be able to vote on their favorite stream, similar to Reddit’s upvote system, which will dictate what appears on the homepage.
