Duolingo, the app that allows users to learn languages, unveiled its new learning innovation for those who have little time. To launch the feature Duolingo has created brightly colored toilet paper with some of the app's signature phrases. The product is screen-free and designed for English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and Japanese speakers.
In the face of more streaming service competitors, streaming powerhouse Hulu is rebranding itself. The redesign will give Hulu a new look and feel so as to unify Hulu's brand across its platforms. The design is aimed at viewers to step into the various stories that the streaming service offers, and will feature its eye-catching green color, mirroring the U in Hulu’s logo.
Toms, a charitable shoe company, was founded on the model of giving back. For the beginning stages of the company's life, they had the business model that with each pair of shoes purchased, one pair of shoes would be donated to someone in need. Tom's has decided that they will also be donating one dollar for every three dollars made, on top of continuing its founding model.
Adidas Originals and Comedy Central's South Park show are collaborating this year to release a limited-edition sneaker on April 20th. The TV show's Towelie character, inspires three Stripes' 4/20-themed sneaker, and the Adidas Originals Campus 80s will look like the South Park's character. Towelie is a talking towel on the show, and the shoes are wrapped in a purple terrycloth material as a nod to the character.
