Last month, Apple hosted its latest launch event to showcase the company’s newest gadgets. Among those announced was the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR models. The XS and XS Max model of the phone have brand-new cameras that provide the phone user with AI capabilities and advanced facial recognition. In addition to camera quality and overall composition, the XS Max model of the phone is larger than the Google Note 9, making it the largest smartphone ever. The XS starts out at $999, while the XS Max starts at $1,099, making this Apple’s most expensive phone model to date.

The XR model of the iPhone was developed to be a more price-conscious version of the techy smartphone. The XR has an LCD-based screen, and is larger than the company’s previous model, the iPhone X. This model comes in a variety of color selections and starts out at $749. Despite these new iPhones being the most expensive edition ever,  Apple will undeniably attract a crowd with these new releases, as they always have ended up doing previously.

The streaming service is set to launch sometime in the spring of 2019 and may be coupled with the company’s already existing music streaming service, Apple Music.

It’s said that the tech giant will have spent upwards of $1 billion on the TV project by the time the final product is unveiled. Whether or not the outcome will be worth the investment, remains to be seen. However given Apple’s history of success in its other ventures, it won’t be surprising if this project is equally as crowd-pleasing as its predecessors. Given that the newer iPhone models are the largest ever, Apple has really primed their audience and given them the perfect means to view their new programming as soon as the service is released.

Whether video streaming, music and gadgets, Apple truly has its hand in every possible space within the tech world.  Though potentially monopolistic, Apple truly serves as a staple in many individual lives. Not only is the company at the forefront of technological advancements, but their products represent a larger community of users that spans the globe. Ultimately, it is the company’s commitment to growth and innovation that keeps customers coming back for more. And they show no signs of slowing down…
