The Pollack Group, an independent creative, digital, marketing, and public relations agency, is seeking an Account Supervisor with B2B PR experience. We are seeking candidates who are currently located in the New York City area.
Essential Functions:
- Act as the agency lead on multiple client accounts, strategically developing PR, marketing and digital media solutions to suit their objectives
- Manage varying account team members and coordinate projects with other agency practice leads
- Act as the media relations lead on behalf of clients and serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling interviews, media tours, etc.
- Develop written material to include releases, profiles, bylined articles and other press materials
- Develop media relations strategies, goals, media targets and pitch angles
- Leverage existing relationships with media contact
- Develop and manage timelines and weekly actions plans
- Serve as the day-to-day client contact during program execution
- Serve as a subject matter expert across accounts, demonstrating industry, cultural or media-driven knowledge that directly and indirectly affect the client
- Assist in the development of long-term client plans and program recommendations, and developing budgets
- Participate with senior team leaders in client meetings
- Support in the research and development of new business proposals
Required Experience:
- 4+ years of experience managing or directly supporting PR and marketing efforts for public and/or private companies and brands
- BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field
- Previous PR agency experience
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of B2B and corporate public relations and marketing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization and presentation skills and detail-oriented
- Experience in leveraging data through media and digital channels
- Knowledgeable in the traditional/digital/social media landscape
- Keen understanding of integrated communications strategies
- Capable of managing and multiple accounts, handling client relations, managing staff and tracking budgets
- Works effectively within a team, demonstrating coordination, communication, and problem-solving contribution
- Flexible approach: has the ability to change priorities against changing client and team needs
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in professional services (real estate, legal, financial, etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience in working with Cision, Muck Rack, etc.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, and/or other tools and technology.
