CLIENT REQUIREMENT

CLIENT PROFILE: Transportation

POSITION: Unit Managers (2 positions!)

Actively seeking two Unit Managers for separate divisions within large National transportation and logistics firm.

For both roles, our client is seeking individuals with solid leadership skills preferably experience in transportation or logistics field and experience working within a unionized environment.

Leading by example, these positions will be responsible to manage and supervise the daily activities of dock operations. As well responsible for the hiring, training and managing performance of employees as per operational standards and procedures; the completion of timely reports and daily documentation and all other related duties.

Successful candidates requires College education or equivalent
- Two year experience in a supervisory capacity within operations environment; an appreciation for the proper execution of company policies, procedures and methods; ideally experience in managing a unionized environment; excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve showing tact and discretion when needed; ability to meet deadlines and coordinate a wide variety of duties and responsibilities; demonstrate a commitment to the role.

SALARY:

Based upon experience starting salary range of 50-52k including very attractive benefit package.
