POSITION: Policy and Advocacy
Manager
Looking to further develop your
career in Government Relations and
Policy? National Association dedicated
to specific Healthcare area is actively
seeking the expertise of a Policy
and Government Relations professional.
As the Policy and Government Relations
Manager, this role with work closely
with the Executive Director; however
requires a hands-on and leadership
role to develop and initiate key policy
and research activities directed to
membership and outside stakeholders.
As the Policy and Government Relations
Manager, this position will allow
for tremendous opportunity to shape
and develop action plans, research
topics, prepare reports and evaluate
heath care developments to determine
impact on members.
We are seeking a self-directed and
career oriented individual with a
Degree in Political Science or Health
related field. Strong organization
and communication skills, the ability
to multi-task effectively within a
small collaborative environment responding
to senior Management and the Executive
Board. Minimum 10 years related Policy/Research
experience, preferably in a Health
Association and complimented with
strong writing, analytical and research
skills. Strong knowledge of the Health
care system is a definite asset.
SALARY:
75-90K with full benefits, 3 weeks
holidays, a flexible supporting working
environment encouraging career development
and mentoring.
