CLIENT REQUIREMENT

CLIENT PROFILE: Travel & Tourism

POSITION: Customer Service Representative (25hrs/week - no evenings, no weekends)

DAILY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Take orders and enquiries from customers over the Telephone, Email, Live Chat or Internet and provide the highest level of customer service, upselling and cross selling as required, while meeting the productivity metrics established in each Centre. Build relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and increase of share of wallet.
- Enter fax orders and orders from sales representatives, customers, and internal associates on an overflow basis. Redirect incorrectly routed faxes, and investigate faxes with incomplete information.
- Quote prices over the telephone to customers when requested, as well as other functions pertaining to customer requests. When applicable, perform price/product matching and price override transactions to secure sales/accounts.
- Trace the orders from the Shipping Department and advise the customers about the likely schedule of delivery or if it has been shipped, the date of shipment.
- Make necessary corrections to customer orders and their accounts when mistakes such as wrong shipments and short shipments occur, so that proper customer accounts are maintained. In addition, make appropriate referrals to Customer Master File to ensure that customers account information is current.
- Provide guidance and answers for customers and internal associates inquiring with Accounts Receivable questions
- Participate in new/existing associate monitoring, coaching, mentoring, meetings, project work, knowledge support and training as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bilingualism English and French (written and spoken) is required.
- Education: Secondary school completion.
- Experience: One year experience in customer relations is desired. Excellent phone mannerisms and keyboarding skills are essential.

Starting salary between $13.90/hr with excellent benefits.
