National Association has an exciting and rewarding position that requires expertise in program administration plus excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reporting to the Manager of Education, the Program Coordinator & Administrator is responsible to manage and support committee volunteer representatives and ensure that all intiatives and directives are followed through to ensure efficiency and effectiveness for the organization.

Responsibilities -

• Under the guidance of the Manager of Education, this position is responsible for program support, development and facilitation.

• Maintain reports and documentation related travel and meetings; coordinate accommodation, logistical arrangement and other related tasks

• Conduct research on issues impacting the membership across Canada related to education and professional issues.

• Supports the Director of Programs & Manager of Education in national recruitment efforts on an ongoing basis; matching talents for specific committees

• The ability to research and synthesize information into a report for management and the board.

Qualifications:

 Degree and/or College diploma

 Minimum 5 years related experience in administration specific to non-profit/association sector.

 Experience working with committees and volunteers.

 Organized and has the ability to prioritize task without immediate and constant supervision.

 Attentive to detail, proactive and ability to multi-task.

 Excellent communication skills – diplomacy, tact and the ability to effectively provide a high level of service to internal and external clients; thereby professionally representing the organization and associated affiliates.

 Excellent writing and research skills.

 Proficiency in using different computer applications (MS Office etc.).

 The ability to speak French is an asset.

Salary: Annual salary of 50K including generous benefit plan. 3 weeks holidays plus 1 week between Christmas and New Years..
